Unconscious
The Unconscious is the vast, dynamic, and often irrational foundation of an individual's psyche. It contains all aspects of the self that lie beyond the reach of conscious awareness.
As the compensatory factor to human consciousness, it shapes perception through emotion, instinct, symbolism, and autonomous psychic processes, influencing thought and behavior beyond deliberate control.
